Our team

We believe that every member of our congregation has an important role to play within the life of the Church.  There are many volunteers who help make all the ministry happen.  In addition to the Minister and Elders here are some of our 'key' contacts.

Rev. J. G. Pickles

We operate under The Church of Scotland Unitary Constitution where the Kirk Session has formed a number of Action Groups made up of members of the Kirk Session and members of the Congregation to ensure that the voice of the Church family is heard.

The Kirk Session has appointed a Convenor for each Group. Other people with special skills from out-with the Congregation may also be appointed to Groups.

Mission ✛ Nurture ✛ Pastoral

Mission - to develop outreach and evangelism strategies to the community and to promote Christian action in the world.

Nurture - to encourage people of all ages to continue in their learning and in the process help nurture other people as we journey in faith together.

Pastoral - to develop fellowship within all ages of the Congregation and ensure that the

Congregation is adequately cared for and communicated with.

Finance ✛ Property ✛ Staffing

Finance – provide the financial wherewithal to support the other Groups in their work.

Property – maintain the Church buildings and assets in order to enable better the work of

other Groups.

Staffing - ensuring that staffing structure meets the needs of the Parish.

The purpose of the Worship Group is to develop the worship life of the congregation.
