MEMBERSHIP

You don't have to be a member to join in with our services or take part in the life of the Church family.  We aim to look after our whole parish and anyone who associates with us.  However, becoming a member is a special part of our tradition where we indicate that we want to make this Church our home and promise to help with our time, talents, and finances. Additionally membership grants voting rights when it comes to various big decisions in the life of the Church.

To become a member you must first be baptised into a Christian tradition and then be in contact with our Minister who will, once a sufficient number have expressed interest, organise a short course to discuss faith.  Should you not be baptised this can happen alongside membership.

Periodically there are also courses to help explore faith e.g. Alpha course, Christianity Explored Course, or Asking the Questions.  All of which conclude with an offer to take up membership.

Once the course is concluded a new member is invited to declare a 'profession of faith' which involves answering questions on a Sunday morning affirming belief and promising to share what you have.

If you are interested in becoming a member please speak to the Minister or Session Clerk or use the contact form below.
