GIVING

The life, work and witness of St. Andrew's & St. Bryde's Parish Church is supported by the volunteering, gifts and offerings of the congregation, visitors and supporters.

There are so many ways you can give to the life of the congregation and mission of the Church.

FINANCIAL GIVING

You can support the work of the Church by making a donation with your payment card using the Donate online button below, or set up your regular offering by Bank standing order, using this form link and emailing to our Treasurer.

As a registered charity we can also, through the government Gift Aid scheme, reclaim the tax you have already paid on the money you give, this is at no cost to yourself, but will increase the value of your offering by 25%.  Please complete the Gift Aid declaration and send to our Treasurer to enable us to benefit from this.

GIVING OF YOUR TIME AND TALENTS

Below are some of the ways you may consider to give of your time and talents to the life and work of the congregation.

SOCIAL COMMITTEE

Whether it be providing tea and coffee after the Sunday Morning Service, organising a Soup and Pudding lunch in aid of TearFund or providing mulled wine and mince pies at our Christmas services, the Social Committee is there with their rota of volunteers to be called upon in support of Church activities requiring catering arrangements.

AVL TEAM

The Audio, Visual and Lighting Team ensure that those leading our services can be heard clearly and the words for Bible readings and praise songs are displayed on our screens.  They also control cameras for the video live stream to our YouTube  channel enabling those who cannot be with us in the Church building to join in worship from home.  A recording of the service is retained on YouTube for later on-demand viewing.

PASTORAL CARE

We aim to be a Church that looks after one another spiritually and practically.  This is the work of the whole community of faith but we also need a core team of volunteers who will be trained in specific pastoral care issues.

OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD

The mission of Operation Christmas Child is to show God's love in a tangible way to children in need around the world, and together with the local Church worldwide, to share the Good News of Jesus Christ. In the run-up to Christmas as well as filling our own shoeboxes, St. Andrew's Church is a drop-off point for others.
